I just got a HK AVR520. Q about bass managment (1 Viewer)

I dont understand why the xover frequency in stereo mode is limited to 60 or 40hz rather than 80 or 100. is this becuase the front speakers must be set to large in stereo mode? ANy help would be great.

if your using an analog input you can only select "large" for a stereo pair with a 40 or 60 hz crossover. if you use a digital input you have a choice of "large" or "small" speakers with the respective crossover settings for each size speaker setting.
