I guess no one watched it.

I haven’t but I did listen the The Flophouse podcast on the movie and that was pretty funny.

This one never showed up at the theatres where I am.

Looks like it's been available on iTunes in the US (but still not here in Canada) pretty much since the theatrical release date.

I guess no one watched it.

I thought I had said something about it. I found it to be a reasonably entertaining b-movie. Robert Rodriguez is great at getting every ounce of production value out of low budget endeavors, and this is no different, but the film itself isn’t as nimble as Rodriguez’ other work. He doesn’t necessarily seem as comfortable with the potential franchise/world building elements. I got a nice 90 minute break from the world watching this, but I don’t think it was good enough to justify making a sequel, which if I remember right the ending left open the possibility of one.

I saw it... and completely forgot I'd done so.

I might've discussed it in a different thread - or on a different board.

Anyway, as I recall, it starts in a fairly promising way but deteriorates from there.

Also wears too many influences on its sleeve.
