Just to chime in for prospective buyers, the colors on the 922 are nothing to write home about. It's a fast LCD, marketed for gamers with ok colors, but if you use Photoshop heavily or watch movies on it you'll start to see where the 922 could use some real improvement.

I will agree the detail is very nice compared to a CRT.

I cant say enough good stuff about the dell lcd monitors, I currently have 4, and highly recommend them, they kick serious arse for gaming and everything else. but out of those ones the OP picked id go with the viewsonics.
