Does "bi-amping" mean your speakers have to be bi-wireable? Is it possible to use 2 Parasound 855A channels for one non-bi-wireable speaker (is this called bridging?)?

The reason I'm asking is that my receiver has only 3 pre-outs. Is there anything I can use the extra 2 channels for?

David,
I think Joel was mentioning that he originally had his system biamped with the 855 and then when he bought the Parasound 2003 (200x3) to power his fronts he noticed a dramtic difference between the 855 & 2003.
Marvin,
To biamp a speaker you do need two sets of binding posts. And since you have only 3 pre-outs you will have 2 extra channels. To fix your issue you would either need to buy a new receiver or get new speakers that have two sets of binding posts :)
