Dual 3" vs single 4" ports in Shiva EBS... (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about using two 3" flared ports instead of the single 4" on a Shiva EBS design. If I use the 3" ports how long will they have to be to retain the 18.5 Hz tune point?

Also, how often do you adjust the gain on your sub's amp? I'm was originally thinking of buying one of the plate amps with a remote because the sub is going in my entertainment nook and won't be easily accessable. Today I noticed that for the same money as the 350w amp from MCM I can get one of Kyle's 320w BASH amps. I get the feeling that the BASH amp is probably a better buy.

16.5" from flange to flange. So the center tube will need to be cut to 11.5".

Or just use them full length and tune a little bit lower.
