Had this player for about 8 mo. Outstanding video and audio performance with rock solid build quality - you really couldn't ask for more! Outstanding condition with clean cosmetics and stunning performance. VERY light use in dedicated home theater, no smoke and no pets. Unit sat on top shelf of enclosed rack - never had anything stacked on it and was kept clean. Buttons never used, 100% control (except for loading) was via. IR. I have original box & pkg., manual, remote control and power cord. The remote has never been used except to program my pronto. BONUS ITEM: Also included is a Magic Power AC cable from Signal Cable (their flagship - a $60 value!) which only adds to this player's stellar performance.
MORE---------------------------------------------------------------
The DVD-2900 has great picture quality, plus the ability to play both SACD and DVD-Audio discs in addition to CDs.
The progressive-scan mode has one of the most advanced de-interlacing systems, Silicon Image's PureProgressive circuitry. PureProgressive delivers DVD images with pixel-perfect clarity and fluid motion and is capable of processing an astonishing 6 billion operations per second. Progressive-scan picture quality is breathtaking when viewed on an HDTV or HDTV-ready TV. On a standard TV, you'll see interlaced-scan video that's extra sharp and clean because of a separate high-speed 54MHz/10-bit DAC to process interlaced signals.
The DVD-2900 has a rigid, vibration-resistant chassis and tips the scales at nearly 18 pounds. Audio circuits are physically separated from video circuits, for noise-free picture and sound.
Two "Pure Direct" modes let you switch off the video circuits, digital output, and fluorescent display for ultimate sonic purity.
The DVD-2900 plays high-resolution SACD and DVD-Audio discs (both stereo and multichannel. It has a dedicated decoder for SACD that really shows off this format. Also, the digital bass management applies bass management to multichannel digital signals like Dolby® Digital and DTS®, while the signal is still in digital form, before converting it to analog and passing it on to the receiver. This gives you optimally balanced multichannel music when used with a wider variety of speakers.

Forum rules read
No Surcharges. Under Visa and MasterCard regulations and the laws of several states, including California, merchants may not charge a fee to the buyer for accepting credit card payments (often called a "surcharge"). You agree that you will not impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting PayPal as payment. This restriction does not prevent you from imposing a handling fee in connection with the sale of goods or services, as long as the handling fee does not operate as a surcharge (in other words, the handling fee for transactions paid through PayPal may not be higher than the handling fee for transactions paid through other payment methods)."
