The iPhone 6 isn't approved for use in china so many are buying many iPhones in the states to sell at ridiculous markups in china. So how can the phones get activated for use in china if their not approved? Seems like the cellular system would not allow them to work.

I know you can get unlocked ones in the UK, they cost more but they are official, i guess the same is true of these ones.

When i say unlocked i mean they are not tied to any network.

SIM cards don't care what they go in as long as the hardware supports the network they are tied to. Testing only stops distribution not individual devices.
