While there isn't a lot of mystery in The Big Heat, that has become my default category for noirs. This has been one of the toughest rounds yet for me, with a number of films that I've turned away from 30s drama, 50s mystery and 70s SF. I've probably rejected more favorites in this round than any other one so far.
