Long time creeper, first time poster.

Looking for a new reciever for an upgrade. I'm going from a Denon AVR-1707. While it was ok, I need to get HDMI switching, DD PLz decoding, and pre-outs for possible expansion. On screen display is a must (i'm guessing most in this range will have it anyway).

I've found so far:

Yamaha RXV-667 however I cant find anywhere on cnet and Yammies site if it actually has PLz decoders. Decent power 90x7 at 0.9% THD

Marantz SR1601 although there's no pre-outs, and it lacks power on paper, but reviews say otherwise. 50x7 at 0.08% THD

Denon AVR-1911. no preouts again, and I have to get to the 3311 to get them. On the other hand with 125 at 0.05% I probably wouldn't need to get into a power amp any time soon.

I havnt looked at Onkyo, HK, or Pioneer yet.

Anyone have opinions?

I've been using a Yamaha rx v665 w/ 90wpc and I have never gone past the minus volume scale. It also has pre-outs which I did use for my 2-channel rig for a while. Also it has many of the sound fields you are looking for. It mightnotbe a 2011 model but I only had one problem w/ the unit.At a certain vol/ freq theamp clipped as auto protection feature.
