Automate Aragon 2005 5-ch amp on/off (1 Viewer)

I bought an Aragon 2005 power amp few months back to mate with my MartinLogan setup. I like the amp a lot but I'd like to automate the on/off through the pre/pro. I have a Sony TAE9000ES and before I got the Aragon, I was using the TAN9000ES which had a SLink cable to the pre/pro for power.

I've heard of these Monster Power or Panamax component type surge center. Can I use one of these to take advantage of automating the on/off? Both amp and pre/pro don't have 12V trigger so I don't know if these surge center would work?

I do have a Marantz RC9200, SLinke, and Homeseer automating the HT and whole house. Not sure if they can help?

You can buy an device from x10.com to turn your amp on and off by remote.

Parasound SCAMP, you can find them on audiogon quite frequently. It will handle that size amp and looks pretty good too. Read about it on the Paraound website.
