Anyone familiar with Charter Cable? (1 Viewer)

My GF is a nascar nut, so I gotta get the speed channel. Signed up for Charter's (local provider) digital cable package. Am I gonna be able to get real sound/S-video (not high-tech yet - gonna upgrade TVs in the summer...) picture with this service? Their phone help didn't know, and the first techie that showed up for the install took one look at the rack, and left.

I have Charter Digital here in Alabama. My cable box (Scientific Atlanta Explorer 3100) has S-Video and digital out (coax).

My parents have charter at home in Kentucky and their box (Motorola, not sure the model) has composite video and no digital audio. I was supremely disapointed but luckily I still have DTV as well.

Had Charter here...... composite video.... no digital audio..... cancelled and went with direct tv.... digital audio is great........
