I’ve been spending time on Pinterest and keep seeing these these welding machines for incredible prices, like $39 or for $49 get two. Can they be any good at that price? Yes they are from overseas, but still that seems too cheap. The ones I’m seeing apparently only do aluminum which would be limiting. They remind of those soldering guns that self feed the solder.

I’ve thought it might be find to weld in a small way to create some artsy-fartsy stuff that I’ll have to dump someday. :D

Here’s a link, I hope: https://guyyil.store/products/wm?pp...zeTdIVkUzR1A5Tk56M2U1d19LZyZ0PUFBQUFBR1BkcWEw

I think my radio shack soldering iron cost almost $40 close to 10 years ago. I can’t imaging a $40 welder would work well, let alone be safe. Even cheap welders at Harbor Freight start between $400 - $500 and good ones can cost up to several thousand, depending on the application.
