I need to find a decent book on Oracle that covers everything from installation to basic DBA duties including how to use their new GUI interface. We use 8i and 9i here so I guess the later the version the better.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jeff

Well, I'm not a DBA but instead a developer. I have to say that the Oracle Press Books are very well written. The 8i DBA Handbook and the 9i DBA handbook are pretty much bibles around our office. However the online documentation that comes with the Enterprise Edition of Oracle is extremely useful when you know what you're looking for.
Also sign yourself up for Oracle Magazine. A little bit propoganda but good information none the less (and it's free)...

Oracle SQL High Performance Tuning by Guy Harrison is an absolute must read as well!
