I placed an order from the TV Greats club on 10/24 and received notification that they cancelled it because they couldn't obtain it 11/7. Perhaps through the DVD Club.

emm. I posted in another thread that Animal House is being re-released via Universal first half of 2003.

If you can't find it. Wait a little longer, it should have more stuff on it than the last w/s one.

The thread was here in the main foru,. I attended a Universal meeting/promo/whoring event 2 weeks ago, and they mentioned the catalog stuff will be released in 2003 (first half, I believe). Scarface will be a 2 disc jobber but absolutely no details have surfaced (so that is slated after the catalog stuff is released). Animal House, and Sixteen Candles were specifically raised as being released next year.

Yeah, when you go to Columbia House you can get Animal House for $0.49 when you sign up. That's what I did, and I have a copy of the film. GREAT DEAL! Just did it like one-two weeks ago.

I got mine for $10 off eBay a few months back.. but now I'm a little sorry as I don't know if the new DVD coming out in 2003 is a whole new 25tb anniversary disc or just a re-release of the current one on moratorium.
