Well Steve you are correct! I see you have great memory, i treid the sub together and it was over the top. Just to much bass and the subs drew attention to themselves when i played music or heavy upper bass dvd's @ times. I found that seperating smooth the bass out and tame the sound. The room...
You might be right, also i have a iregular shaped room (bonus room over the garage) to deal with. I just had a custom rack built for my gear and i'm picking up a 2ch amp soon, so i will taking better pictures of my HT to replace the ones up now.
Yes it is set to C-weighted Fast and the LO is below the 110 setting. So are you saying i'm reading the meter wrong? I know the meter will show a few db over above the selected range and under.
I was suprise my self RS meter(digital one) set in the 110 position would hit 102 really quick and displays LO after the finger hits the ground. The subs seem to be phase I plan to go over all of my settings this weekend. I had family over last weekend so and a lot traffic in the theater when i...
Thx, I would not gain anything by lying. I'm down by 3db since my subs are seperated. When i moved the RS meter 10ft spot, i can hit 106db from the chair seat uncorected. I have to say i thought it would be very easy to get 110db myself, but i got my "bubble popped" when i hit 102db @ the sweet...
You are right about not fairing well but it was late so i decided to wait for today. Kill Bill has an excellent DTS soundtrack, bass was really good. The movie was too.
I don't own Polks but i'm sure my AR's can keep up. Call me a copy cat after i watch Kill Bill tonight i will try the PWC test myself & i sit 18ft from my subs. Should be fun. :D
Thx Craig. Be sure to post your impressions of the B4+ with Matrix Revoulutions, i'm sure it will be incredible.
I would bet everyone here had the the same feelings.
I have notice the difference between the Reloaded and Revoulutions, but i just turn it up to RL and it's fine. I can also go 4dbs above RL with no strain or problems YMMV per systems, rooms etc. I still think SQ is great!
I just got thru playing the credits and all i have say is Damn! That song that plays doing the credits not only sounds good but feels good too. I did not know it had stong subsonic bass thru out the entire song. What a treat! :D
Hi Michael, First thx for serving your country. Now the wait will be worth it i'm sure of it, but if you need someone to break in your sub for you i'm open. :D Thx for the plots Rudi! :emoji_thumbsup: :D
"Keep hope alive!" One can only dream, me being a huge fan of DTS i would be @ a lost for words if WB blessed us with a DTS version. Rudi can't wait to see your plots,& well said George. :)
WB act like they have stock or some kind vested intreast in Dolby, some conflict of intrest issue. The last WB dvd i seen that had DTS was "Trister" all other studios support DTS on dvd but WB.
Not to mention that Widescreen was very pleased. I would have to agree w/ this review. WSR Picture Rating: 5 DD Sound Rating: 5+ DVD Picture: The anamorphically enhanced 2.40:1 DVD picture exhibits the signature look of "The Matrix," with plenty of greens and grays in the color...
The chapter i'm talking about is before the one you are speaking of. You are right about the fight scence, that last water ball explosion in the sky was a killer!
WOW! Now this is what a dvd should sound & feel like! :D My favorite chapter for now is "A Truce" when Neo is walking to the source and they show how he sees the machine world (he is blind)
you can feel every foot step. When the source speaks is really cool cause you can FEEL his voice as he...
