    2011 at the Box Office

Malcom- After reading you're reply, I'm going to go ahead and agree. It *IS* the fifth film in a horror franchise. The per screen really is great as well.

    The Devil's Double - Review

Surprised nobody has commented on this one. I wrote a review for my blog, PopCultureWhore.com , so I don't see any use in writing up a whole new one for here. There are NO spoilers in this review. There are many ways to describe Uday Hussein, Saddam Hussein's oldest son. None of them are...

    Insidious

It really was a great film (for what it is). It's certainly not going to win an Oscar, but a very scary movie.

    Scream 4

Caught this at a midnight showing tonight. WOW! This isn't a groundbreaking horror film but it's an excellent addition to the franchise. LOVE LOVE LOVE the references to the other films throughout the movie. I really enjoyed this. Anyone else see it (or plan too?)

    Insidious

I saw this tonight & it was actually AMAZINGLY good! It's PG-13, which normally turns me off with horror movies, but the trailer looked so good I couldn't resist. I am SO glad I saw it. It was literally terrifying! Did anyone else see this?

Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - quick review

Is anyone else really falbergasted they're skipping The Silver Chair & going to The Magician's Newphew? I don't get it & I think that the general public is gonna be like "wtf?". They'll be expecting a sequel and will get a prequel. Then which one will they do after that? Back to The Silver...

    The Adjustment Bureau

I definitely see your points, I just found it completely unbelievable & as I said, some of it jarred me out of the movie so much I LOL'ed in the theater (& felt bad about it). I REALLY REALLY wanted to like this movie. It just didn't work for me.

    The Adjustment Bureau

I honestly thought this was one of the most ridiculous movies I've ever seen. He meets the girl in the bathroom, has a 3 minute conversation with her & becomes obsessed with her to the point of not caring about the election? Very unbelievable. Then he sees her again on a bus for 3 minutes and...

    2010 at the Box Office

I'm confused how Tangled can be the first film of 2011 with an A+ Cinemascore when it's not 2011 & it wasn't released in 2011?

I still have 2 seasons left to buy on DVD. Don't really see the need to upgrade to Blu-Ray for these. I'll pass. Anyone else in the same boat.

WHV Announcement: Charlie Brown's Christmas Tales and holiday favorites on DVD

Does anyone know of a list of what's on what? In other words, I can see what I can skip & what I can't to still complete the collection without entire DVD's of doubles? Hopefully you know what I"m trying to say lol

    Scream 4 In Trouble

Michael, I definitely think there was "magic" with the cast of the original Scream, Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson. And while Williamson isn't the best writer Hollywood has ever known, when he's on, he's on. I was really looking forward to them reuniting to kick off the new trilogy.

WHV Announcement: Charlie Brown's Christmas Tales and holiday favorites on DVD

I'm kind of torn because I don't want to support the studio making us double dip, but on the other hand I love Peanuts. It's like a double edged sword

WHV Announcement: Charlie Brown's Christmas Tales and holiday favorites on DVD

Am I the only one purchasing these individually as well as the sets (60's, 70's, etc)? I believe it's the only way to truly get all of the episodes.

    Scream 4 In Trouble

I did a search on the forums & found a thread with it's last post of 2005, so I think I'm safe in creating a new one. In any event, I'm sure all of you guys have heard Scream 4 is about to start shooting in a few weeks with the original cast & original talent from the trilogy. Kevin...

A Few Thoughts About....Blu-ray/DVD FLIPPER DISCS

I'm a huge film buff with over 2,000 DVD titles & 250+ Blu-Ray titles. I'm 26 years old. Probably in the target demo. I got burned by Alfred Hitchcock Presents DVD's with one side working, another not. Of course, I didn't watch all the episodes on all the discs within the 30 day return...

    2010 at the Box Office

No because there's LESS of them willing to pay the premium. If you get 1 million people willing to pay $15 to see Avatar or you get 2 million people willing to pay $9 to see The Dark Knight, which is more succesful?

    2009 at the Box Office

When will studio's get that 99% of the time, it has NOTHING to do with the stars they put in the film. If the movie doesn't look good, people won't go: point blank. "Studio Experts" consistently predict bigger openings because it has a Tom Cruise or a Julia Roberts or even Will Smith...

    Project Infinity To Replace DVD's?

I'm a HUGE film fan (over 2,000) DVD's & I'm only 25 :) I PERSONALLY love having the film on disc. But Comcast is working on PROJECT INFINITY, which is set to have over 8,000 HD films & TV SERIES on Video On Demand (VOD) by 2009. From there, they will be adding titles monthly. Does...

*** Official THE MARTIAN CHILD Review Thread

Did anyone else catch this over the weekend? I *REALLY* enjoyed it. John Cusack puts in a superb performance as a sci fi writer who has adopted a young boy, who believes he is from Mars. Great role with Joan Cusack as well. The boy is truly a remarkable young talent. It's definitely a...

    anyone into madonna?

LOL I find the title of this post funny. Anyone into Madonna? lol She is the top selling female artist in history for a reason. She has more Top 10 hits than everyone but The Beatles (& she's tied) for a reason. :)
