I have a phillips 27" flat screen tv, brand new, and i can hear this very high pitched, hard to hear noise, if your watching tv you wont even notice it, but when i go behind the tv to plug something in i can hear it, or when im close to it i can hear it.

Now in the menu for this, there is nothing about contrast, anyone familiar with these tv's know any links or anything to properly colaberate it w/o the avia discs or whatever.

Yeah i have io digital cable and it offers high definition, i just hope it doesn't cost $600 or whatever.

My dad has about $900 and wants to get a new tv. There is a 6th ave, pc richards, best buy, and circuit city close to us btw if that helps.
