High pitched noise (1 Viewer)

I have a phillips 27" flat screen tv, brand new, and i can hear this very high pitched, hard to hear noise, if your watching tv you wont even notice it, but when i go behind the tv to plug something in i can hear it, or when im close to it i can hear it.

My Toshiba (5 weeks old) squeals like that too, but it's VERY audible and drives me nuts.

Thank God for the 1 yr P/L warranty, but I'm still pissed.

I have an older TV which does that. The whiter the screen the louder the squeal. I found that if I go back and wiggle the input cable (coax was being used) that you can get the squeal to go away....for a little while.
