See that's why I love you guys on here! Just about every scene listed gives me chills just thinking about it. So for my list (some repeats but hey they're mine!:) ) Star Wars IV, Luke and the Twin Suns Unbreakable, Bruce Willis in the train station Matrix, The end where Neo sees code for...
Good idea for a thread. Hmm top 10 fun movies... In no order: Office Space: "Why should I change my name, he's the one who sucks?" Airplane!: "I picked a hell of a day to stop sniffing glue." Bottle Rocket: "It's more than just mowing." Sgt. Bilko: "...And fresher too." My Blue...
I think Paul summed it up well just now. As for other comments, coming from someone who's seen it, I loved it and it's not that there was no payoff, I just think lots of people will be dissappointed with the payoff. Also, call me crazy but during the Zion assault, while niobe is piloting...
Chris Nope. It is mentioned why and how Neo stops the sentinels but it is done with little reason or explanation. Nothing about the M controlling Neo, that's not the issue in Revo. M controls the zone where Neo is but he doesn't control Neo.
Chris- That's pretty much all I get out of it. And that's a shame to have no more depth. Especially because: early on Neo is trapped in an inbetween existance that the "trainman" runs. the Merovingian is in charge of the trainman so Trinity and Morph go to see the Merovingian about...
No problem Ricardo! To answer the final question: The Deus Ex machine is on screen for oh about 5 minutes. Very important scene though!
I'm fairly surprised about the negative reviews. Not the fact that people didn't like it (different strokes for different folks) but how much those...
Just go into the movie with low expectations. That's ALWAYS the best policy, IMHO. I went in to Reloaded with HUGE expectations and was let down. But, with each viewing , I like Reloaded a little more. I went into Revo. with relatively no expectations and I came away entertained and happy. I...
I'm not even from NY, visited some though, and I thought the ending was obvious. He goes past the bridge and continues up the river. Case closed..but thanks for the info about Otisville. I didn't know that's where Jung is.
I know nothing about that Sony model but I have the one in question and I'm perfectly happy with it. It was decent out of the box but needed some adjustments after a week or two. Since then it's been doing great!
This Monday at 7pm(est i believe), F/X is showing the first 7 episodes of Lucky. I would have posted this under Lucky thread but this will be a good op for those who have not caught the show to catch up with us Lucky fans. It's been fun so far!
Maybe this is silly but why are TVs only 16X9 when DVDs are usually 2.35:1 or 1.85:1 and we have bars anyway? I'm new to HT and I had thought a 16x9 would be a fullscreen experience with no bars.
I think it's interesting to think about the future of technology so I appreciate this thread. I think that along a long enough timeline, all current technology will be obselete if you think about it. It's just a matter of time. Will RPTV be gone one day? Absolutely. But how soon... I like RP...
Season 2 comes out September 2, 03 on DVD. I'm not making plans that weekend. Due to the addictive nature of the show, I decided not to watch it live. I'm gonna watch it all the way I watched Season 1, in one weekend. I lvoe this show. No flashbacks of the bombing on the DVD. Only one...
I saw a few mentions but I have to reaffirm FIGHT CLUB. That movie gets better each time! I also agree with Jerseys and Sixth Sense. Didn't see this mentioned but definently throw in PULP FICTION. It was neat to be able to focus on sequencing rather than straight plot.
Halloween II, by far! I was 11 at the time and I was in and out of hospitals for some things back then so the whole hospital theme kept me up at night when I was actually in a quiet hospital bed in the dark.
