What's the difference btwn a Pentium M and Dual Core? Do I really need a Dual Core for school stuff?

Master and Commander in DTS...it has the best sound of any dvd I've yet heard.

I have been thinking of picking up the PB10 to replace my HTIB sub as well. You cannot adjust the crossover frequency on my Yamaha HTR-5560, however. Is that important with the SVS?

I have an EC35, and two pairs of E50s and couldn't be happier. I think you will like the JBLs, but I have to recommend you buy an EC35 rather than use an E50 as your center. It's much better to have a true center channel.

IMO the JBL E50 offers the best bang for the buck. A great sounding speaker that can be had for about $230 shipped.

I haven't heard the Tykes, but I don't see how they can possibly be worse than the Onkyos. I had the Onkyos for about a year, and they were terrible. The sub was decent, but the speakers were incredibly muddy sounding and lacked any detail.

Try out Master and Commander, U-571, or the Haunting all in DTS to give your sub a good workout.
