Does anyone know if the DVI output works with the Sony KP46WT500? i.e. does the TV support HDCP DVI? Thanks, Chris

It's been a long road, but it's DONE.

Well a couple of little things to do, but it is functional! Now I just need someone to help me move the couch in and move my 36" CRT TV up to where this one used to be.... HT link in my sig will take you there. Would love to hear some feedback. Cheers, Chris

Glad I Can Still Watch TV

Good thing I have my DVD's to keep me and the Mrs. company, not to mention good signals on my dishes (just watched Behind Enemy Lines in HD, sweet). Yes, this was taken today, April 26 2003. Yesterday it was rain, the day before it was sunny and 21°C (70°F)... Cheers, Chris

    KP46ST500 Flicker

I think I'm getting the dreaded Sony flicker on my KP46ST500. The picture (especially in darker scenes) is a little shaky and pulses shades of green. I saw this a few weeks ago after a lenghly time watching, but it really came to light today. The TV was on for several hours then I sat down...

    Interesting Aspect Issue

I have the new Sony 46” 16:9 RPTV and aside from my DVD player, use a DirecTV Ultimate TV receiver for most of my watching. A couple of shows have had some aspect issues as of late, and I finally figured out why. 99% of the stuff I watch on DirecTV is fine. I watch it with the TV in full...

    My ISF Calibration Experience

After doing some research and realizing how lucky I am to live in the same town as him, yesterday I had HTF’s very own Michael TLV come over and calibrate my new 46” Sony RPTV. I had given the TV a basic setup with my Sound & Vision disk, but proper calibration did make a noticeable...

The waiting is the hardest part!

Ordered my SVS 20-39PC-Plus last Friday. They must be selling like hotcakes as it won't be shipping until next week (or today if the Godz are really smiling). I could be in real trouble as my Mirage sub auction closes in 10 hours!!!! Ahhh but it will be worth it. Cheers, Chris

    Mirage FSX-S8 Powered Subwoofer

Nominated for Subwoofer of the Year by Home Cinema Choice, the tiny FRx-S8's cabinet belies its huge sound and allows it to fit unobtrusively into any decor. Mirage is renowned for its massive subwoofer sound. No subwoofer of a similar size can better reproduce the ground shaking bass of...

Best Widescreen TV for Digital Sattelite

Last month I took a Hitachi's top-of-the-line 57" widescreen home. I was able to get a stunning picture from DVD, but could not for the life of me get a decent picture from my digital sattelite sources (DTV, Dish & BEV). I don't have cable. These are standard digital sattelite recivers (not...
