American Pie 2 - what a waste of time!!

I wish I could have THAT 2 hours back. Not one inch of original slapstick. Just a big teenage tits and ass movie that insults young people. I suppose teenagers like it because it has "boobies" but it certainly is not entertaining for anybody with an IQ over 70.

Does cold water come to a boil faster the hot water??

Does cold wather come to a boil faster the hot water?? Is this an urban myth that my daughter came up with? I debunked the Wizard of Oz Munchin hanging scene but can't find the truth in this one.

Full Frontal Nudity in StarGate SG-1 - ya gotta love DVD's

I'm not the kind of guy that LOOKs for these things but it certainly was a perk when I was watching the pilot of StarGate SG-1. It certainly did catch my attention (being a typical male). Perhaps I got StarGate XX-1 instead LOL I bet sales will skyrocket now! :-)

Anybody have vehicle and body counds in RONIN?

I saw the 1st 1/2 on TNT and the sound was rottin so I got the DVD and just watched it. MAN - there is a lot of damage in that movie. The alternate ending totally sucks and is depressing. VERY glad they skipped it.

Any other "happy" movies my wife should check out?

For instance - she loves Six Days Seven Nights. It ends happy, has beautiful scenery and is "slightly" funny. She calls it a Comfort movie (for when she has the flu). Any others? LA Story is another one.

DVD Player sales momentum continues to decline!

OK - it's nothing to get worried about. Just a typical trend on new technology and was predicted last month (by me). In Feburary there were 736,118 players sold in the U.S.which is 32% more then LAST Feburary. In Feburary 2000 there was 267% increase, 2001 had a 39% increase and 2002 a...

If you have a non-progressive rptv will s-video cables be worth it?

If you have a non-progressive rptv will s-video cables be worth it or will the results not be noticable. How about Composite cables (or whatever they are called). The only thing I don't like about my rptv is it's not progressive scan (you pay for what you get). Is there any tweaks that...

What are the drawbacks to rptv's. Should I worry about them?

I'm thinked of plunging into the world of Rear Projection and because of the lack of 1st hand knowledge am worried about drawbacks such as the constant need for calibration??? or burning in the screen??? I don't think burning is a problem (unless 2 hours a day will do it). Can anybody...

Anybody that says he's a newbie should REALLY buy AVIA as soon as he can. I got it yesterday and am astounded at the amount of information on it. It covers EVERYTHING, it's not just a manual for calibrating. It covers everything you wanted to know but felt it silly to ask. From what does a...
