What SMALL bookself speaker would you buy if money was not an option?? Link

I have an older Pioneer Pro Logic receiver an the remote broke. Many functions are accessible only thru the remote. I went to Radio Shack and bought their 6-1 univeral remote. About 3/4 of the functions work, but some important ones don't. What should I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I have about $1000 to spend on 5.1 surround speakers. They must be wall mounted, small. I pretty much have my mind set on Energy Encore's, $995 online. But I keep reading great reviews on the JBL NSP1's. I havent heard them yet, but do they really compare to a speaker like the Encore? Link

I am going to purchase Energy Encore satalite speakers(sats are my only option with my room setup). With the limitations of such speakers, at what point does the quality of the receiver not matter. Will a $300 Onkyo, Kenwood, etc sound as good as a mega buck setup, due to speaker limitations...
