thanks to this link I signed up and get instant credit and ordered a PS3. They offer 12 months interest and payment free, and they credit your card $100. I don't know how anyone could go wrong with that!!
A couple of months ago The Digital Bits mentioned a few players (along with a link) to a Bluray player that was $299 at Amazon, Best Buy, etc. I don't recall the brand (may have been Sony), but it soon disappeared and now most cost $399. Anyone have ANY idea when cheaper players will be coming...
Sorry if am posting this in the wrong section, but here goes. I jumped on the HD-DVD bandwagon (DUH!!), and now want to get on the Blu-Ray wagon. So I've made this decision after the deadline for the free Blu-Ray movies you get when purchasing a PS3 or other qualifying players. Does anyone...
I saw this movie on Monday, and I thought it was hysterical. Some movies require you to check the analytical part of your brain in at the door, and this was one of those movies. There were many funny scenes including the classic You, Me (sort of "who's on first") word play. I wasn't too crazy...
I just finally got the download!!! I had to connect the HDA1 directly to the cable modem; apparently it wouldn't work using the wireless router from my XBOX 360. So it's updated and .... I don't know what the difference is from 2.0. Thanks for the assistance!! Jorge
I tried, and I always get a "cannot find out server" error. I copied all the IP info from my XBOX 360 onto the HDA1, and it still has the error. Could Toshiba make it any more difficult to get the player to hookup via the internet??? UGH!!!!
Is it possible for someone to hook me up with a disc for this newest update??!!??! I tried downloading it but it doesn't work!!! ARGGHHH!!! I would appreciate someone's help!! Jorge
Last weekend I happened to catch one of my childhood favorites on AMC, "The Incredible Shrinking Woman." I wanted to know if anyone has any information on its (hopefully) release. I would love to hear "Galaxy Glue" in glorious 5.1. LOL :)
I have the Panasonic CV51 --it's the five disc brother to the RV31 which everyone rants about. They just recently released the new RV32 and the 5 disc counterpart CV52K. You can find it at Best Buy this week for $179.99 (normal price), although you can get a free DVD this week with its purchase...
I recently purchased a Sony STRDA5ES, and am using Bose Acoustimass 10 speakers. Although I have seen MANY people bash Bose in this forum I have been rather happy with them. Nevertheless, an upgrade is probably due so I wanted to know what people might suggest I buy for a room that is 10' X 12'...
How much does your remote cost? I have seen some of the higher priced models, but that will just drive me to get a new receiver altogether; I get frustrated easily with stuff like this!!
Thanks for your assistance.
I need help!!!!! My Sony STR-DE925's remote recently died. I purchased an RCA universal remote (it cost 29.99), and it could not handle the intricate features of the original remote. Anyway, can someone please recommend a remote that will provide the same service as the one that came with my...
I don't know exactly what you mean because of your limited description, but does your tv "flicker" or "roll over" when there are bright scenes or explosions? If you have Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, go to the menu and select an option. When you select an option the swords of the two women...
I don't know about the Pioneer, but the Panasonic CV51 is pretty damn good. The video and audio seem to be better than the Toshiba 4109x that it replaced, although I hate not having the zoom feature or the time remaining feature. When it comes to playing movies, CD-Rs, and what-have-you, the...
Your safest best is to deal with authorized Panasonic retailers or e-tailers. Go to Panasonic.com and look for the model you want. Then you can search for a dealer and see if there is a store near your area who is an authorized dealer.
If you go the way of e-tailers, then I suggest JandR.com...
I just recently had a Toshiba 4109x bite the proverbial dust two weeks ago. After MUCH homework, and buying and returning a lot of DVD players (thank God for Best Buy!), I finally settled on a Panasonic DVDCV51. I can't tell you how noticeable the difference is between the Toshiba and the...
Just recently my Toshiba 4109X (a machine which I was VERY fond of), crapped out on me. Knowing that it will probably cost as much to fix it as to buy a new one, I am now looking to replace it. As such, I would like to know what, if anything, anyone might know about the Toshiba SD2715.
Due to...
