Well apparently...my cat liked the taste of both the FM and AM antennas on my Denon 3801 and decided they would make a good late night snack. My dilemma is that the FM antenna connection seems kind of specific to Denon receivers (little plastic tube on the end of the antenna plugs into a hole...
Jon- I have the 3801 and it has OSD. I would assume the model you are referring to also supports it. Although the website may not refer to this specific feature...I know of no model that doesn't have OSD. Good Luck, Rob
A few weeks ago my Denon 3801 froze up...wouldn't turn off, change settings / modes, etc. Finally was able to turn off somehow...but then wouldn't turn back on later. I initialized / reset the microprocessor as outlined in the manual by unplugging, holding Auto and PCM buttons, and plugging...
Jeff- I used to own the 20-39 CS with Samson 700 amp (bought the new 25-31 PCi, just returned it and will wait on the 25-31PC+), and also have the 3801...here's what I did. SVS, and the Samson manual...recommend turning the Samson to full gain, then adjusting the sub out from the receiver...
Michael-
I guess I will give my opinion and be one of many to suggest the Swan Divas. If not familar with the Divas, check out AV123.com for more info. They are available only direct from AV123.com (much like SVS is available only direct) and offer what many believe to be one of the best...
JL-
SurroundSolutions.com has a few different mfgs there you can check out.
I looked all over the place when I was in the market for speaker stands. I ended up getting some Sanus Steel Foundations 24" stands from Sanus.com (also have them on SurroundSolutions.com). They are about $165, but...
Chris-
As far as mounting your 2.1's to the wall...check out this thread I started on AVS forum concerning the exact same situation. I ended up just getting the 4.1's and C3 (I live in an appt and really didn't have the room for a 5.1 setup)...
Have a single 3M banana to bi-wire banana speaker wire purchased from BetterCables.com.
Asking $70.00 O.B.O. ($107 new) Have original receipt and shipping bag.
Email me at [email protected] if interested
Thanks,
Rob
Finally sold my 20-39CS, working to sell my Samson 700 amp. Am interested in going the PC route for a change, specifically waiting on the introduction of the PC+ line. Anyone heard any rumblings from Tom or Ron on when these bad boys will be unleashed?
Rob
Am looking to sell my SVS 20-39 CS and Samson 700 amp...so I can upgrade to one of the new CS Ultra's. Purchased from SVS about 8 months ago, still in MINT condition. Still have original box for amp, not for sub.
Asking $600 O.B.O for the sub and amp. Would consider selling just the sub...
I recently purchased the Diva 4.1, 2.1, C3 package. I used to own Klipsch Reference, which were all bi-wireable.
The Diva C3 isn't bi-wireable, so I have a question. Can I just leave one end (one pos, one neg) of the bi-wireable end loose...not plugged into the speaker? Will this make any...
Since don't have the box for the sub (mailed SVS, and not exactly cheap for them to send me one)...would really need to sell to someone I can meet and drop off. As stated, I live in Austin, TX...and would be willing to meet in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, College Station, etc for a drop-off...
I have someone who is interested in amp only. If someone is interested in just the sub...let me know and I will split. I am looking to get another SVS, and can still use the S700 if needed..but at least need to get rid of the sub.
Sorry for any confusion,
Rob
Looking to sell my current Klipsch Reference setup that was purchased about 8 months ago. Still have original receipt and boxes, all speakers are in mint condition.
RB5's - $550
RC3 - $200
Prices are negotiable, and would consider selling separately.
Also have a pair of Sanus Steel...
Am looking to sell my SVS 20-39 CS and Samson 700 amp...so I can upgrade to one of the new CS Ultra's. Purchased from SVS about 8 months ago, still in MINT condition. Package will include BetterCables interconnect to connect amp to receiver. Still have original box for amp, not for sub...
Does the sound / hum only happen when your cable TV is turned on? If so, you are experiencing the dreaded ground loop. You can use a cheater plug (differing opinions on the safety of this trick). I bought a MAGIC (Mondial Antenna Ground Isolation Circuit). It is a small box, like a cable...
