Initial search couldn't find anything... Have a Toshiba 50H82, you can "lock" all of the front panel buttons EXCEPT for the power button. Well, my one year old can't seem to escape the allure of that button. Real fun to watch TV when you have to keep getting off the couch to snatch that little...
I've got an Infinity BU-120 150W sub with a blown amp module that seems to be no longer manufactured. The rest of the sub is in excellent condition. I know that if I buy a new amp from PE, I'll have the problem of finding one to fit perfectly or covering up the hole left by the old one. If I opt...
I have last year's S-26II's for fronts and surrounds along with an S-CenterII. I think they sound unbelievable. Especially since I bought them online for 1/2 of BB's price!
So who's got the best price on this sucker now? I'm getting that buying feeling again. BB is back up to $499. JR has for $399 but then you add the $50 for shipping. That is the best I've seen so far.
I have a 4 year old Infinity BU-120 150w sub (originally about $400)that quit working. I pulled it apart and found a blown capacitor. Researching here I found that this is a known issue with this sub. I bought the C6 cap repair kit through Harman for only $11 including shipping. My FIL and I...
The TV is not near a bathroom or any windows. After further inspection yesterday, it doesn't appear that the moisture is really moisture b/c what I thought were water droplets are still there and have not spread or decreased. Now I'm really stumped as to what it is. I think I'm calling in the...
Had my Toshiba 50" WS RP since January and love it, but unfortunately, just yesterday I noticed in one corner it looks like I've got moisture behind the screen! Any ideas what would cause that? Don't have any humidity problem in the house. Is there an easy way for me to get to the back of the...
I've got the same TV in 50" and love it. Unfortunately, just yesterday I noticed in one corner it looks like I've got moisture behind the screen! Any ideas what would cause that? Don't have any humidity problem in the house. Is there an easy way for me to get to the back of the screen or is it...
Any rule of thumb about how far unshielded mains need to be away from a RPTV? Getting the 50 incher tomorrow and trying to get the logistics of where everything is going to fit!
So without this DVI port, it will be obsolete? I'm a bit new to exploring HD, so can someone explain? I thought it was analog TV's that would be dinosaurs, not a supposed HDTV!
Probably been discussed ad nauseum, but the search function is down. What's the major diff b/w these two? BB has a 2-year finance plan that's hard to pass up, but they only have the 50H82. Would I be missing out on a lot with that model?
I would say the JBL is amazing. Got mine from etronics.com and was was overwhelmed by the difference it made. Unfortunately I'm still using some old JVC towers for my mains, saving up for some JBL's.
I've seen mention of doing this here and I never thought about it until my brother said he was upgrading his receiver and doesn't have the budget for a new powered sub. I'm not quite sure how you would accomplish this. The idea is quite simple, but just not sure of the logistics. Help?
