I see at DVDFile.com that Buena Vista is releasing "Lie Down with Dogs" in June. This, as I remember, was a delightful piece of fluff set in Provincetown.

I am anxious to hear info on this title. The last Delta title I viewed "Santa Fe Trail" was missing tracks and timings. I hate that ... never know where I am in the movie if I have to stop it for a minute. Also, the quality was poor. Other Delta titles have had the Delta logo in the lower right...
Off the DVD subject for a minute. I am in the middle of reading "Behind the Screen" how gays and lesbians influenced Hollywood from 1910 to 1969. I am finding the book very interesting. Less of an expose but more of an indepth look at how pervasive homosexuality was in Hollywood.
I will not be replacing the original release DVD's with re-release DVD's no matter what else is on them until I have watched the several hundred DVD's that I now own and have not been viewed. At the rate of over 50 per month, I will catch up by May 2003. However, factoring in new purchases...
It is interesting to see the sales results listed each week in Entertainment Weekly. Almost always, the Widescreen version outsells the Full Screen version. They have to know this.
So far, all of the Fox releases have been RE-releases. I bought all of them the first time around. I guess, at this rate, I will never get my copy of Sunrise.
