Can a Splitter be used for Digital Audio?

Joseph, I was thinking about doing the same thing. I am going to put a 2nd receiver in my garage this spring, and I'd love to have the commercial-free digital music out there. What splitter/switch were you looking at? I would guess that you would use the video (yellow) port from the switch...

    Ever regret selling a car??

Mike, I am in a similar situation as you. I have a new house, wife, a 2-yr. old and one on the way. I have a '65 Mustang that I've had for almost 13 years and is in excellent condition. I have no time for it at all. I have barely driven it over the past 2 years, but I will not get rid of it...

    Where should we travel?

Thanks for the suggestions. The budget was for the room only. I know that greens fees are spendy everywhere. What's the temerature like in So. Utah in Feburary?

    Where should we travel?

My wife and I have two round trip tickets for anywhere in the continental US that we are planning to use in the next 30-45 days. We are thinking of a 5-6 day trip. Where should we go? I'll give some criteria: 1. It has to be fairly warm. We are both single digit handicap golfers and would...

Heading to Buffalo & Toronto, Suggestions?

Evan, Before the hockey game in Buffalo, be sure to go to the Pearl Street Grill & Brewery. It is less than a mile from HSBC Arena and has a good pre-game crowd. They brew about 5-8 varieties of beer right on the premises. The food is very good too. They also have a billiards parlor on the...

Advice with paradigm atoms, titans, and focus

Evan, I went to Fairview because we were going to Ikea too. Both are on the same street. I called Gibby's, East Hamilton Radio, and Fariview and was asking some questions regarding stock and prices. I found Fairview to be the friendliest, most helpful, and most importantly....the best price.

    Anyone here doing their MBA?

Moe--I understand completely...I would have loved to get it over with in 22 months, but I couldn't take off the 1 day per week either. So far, two classes a week haven't caused too much of a cramp in my lifestyle. The only thing that I have really given up is my racquetball league. It was on the...

Advice with paradigm atoms, titans, and focus

It should only take you 30 minutes once you cross at the Lewiston bridge. Take the QEW to the Brant St. exit and make a right. It's on the left about 1 mile down. I wasn't aware of the $2000 minimum. I spent around $900CDN and received 7% right away and the 8% refund in the mail.

    Anyone here doing their MBA?

Moe, UB also offers an EMBA program (E is for executive). It is a 22 month program (4 classes a semester). It runs 8am-5pm on Friday and Saturday. Several students that live relatively far away spend the night in a local hotel....

    Anyone here doing their MBA?

Moe, I'm halfway through mine at SUNY at Buffalo. Their MBA program is ranked among the top-40 in the world (WSJ & Forbes). It's a great program for part-time students, and I'm enjoying it very much. I take two classes a semester (fall, spring, summer) two nights a week. The summer classes end...

Advice with paradigm atoms, titans, and focus

Evan, I live in Tonawanda, NY. I would highly recommend traveling north of the border to buy your Paradigms. I purchased 2 pair of Atoms, a CC170 center, and a PDR-10 Sub from Fairview Hi-Fi in Burlington, Ontario for about $600US about a year ago. Here is the website: www.fairviewhifi.com...

    Digital coax splitter?

I have no idea if this would work, but you may be able to try a RCA Y-adapter like this: http://www.monstercable.com/productPage.asp?pin=654 Actually, I was thinking of doing a similar application...only in reverse. I was thinking of splitting the Coax from my cable box to two receivers. One...

I survived yet another round of lay-offs.

Ted- I work for the same unidentified company, and I seem to have survived as well. I work for the Direct part of the business as an Account Manager. Good luck to you! John

    Which minivan would you recommend?

My wife drives a 1998 Olds Silhouette that we bought brand new. We weren't really excited about getting a minivan (traded in a Pathfinder), but this vehicle is perfect for us. The ride is extremely smooth, and there is plenty of room. We have one child right now. Whichever one you get, get one...
