Can I safely assume that any/all of these Extremis designs (and others such as the North Creek) will always come in around 4 ohms and need a bunch of power? I have a Rotel 1055 for now, but it is not stable under 8ohms and would require a seperate amp for anything less.

Couple more questions of the LCR: The drawings seem to show it ported on one side, but the 2 mids share the same volume, more or less. Is that right? Is porting optional? Reason being, as I posted earlier, I don't have a huge amount of clearance between the speaker and wall behind. And...
