I believe that you can only access the title on the screen once it has cycled through the song that's playing and resets the screen. -David

I'm having a problem with disc 1. The first chapter of the pilot has cut out the front speakers. All I hear is the surrounds with the laugh track. I'm gonna take it back tonight, but it's sounding like they had some productions problems between missing discs, missing soundtracks, etc. -David

That's more or less what I suspected too. I don't think we are going to see it on XBox, and if we do, I have a bad feeling it's going to be a port that doesn't make full use of the XBox's power. Guess I'm gonna be picking it up tonight, then. :) -David

Yes, I did complete all the trick books. I've also gotten gold on all the showoffs up through and including Tokyo Megaplex. Working on the races now. And yes, I forgot to include on my list that you need to use the same type of board as the uberboard in order to complete your trick book...

I believe it will only show the ubertricks while you are a newbie, or whatever that first level is. They disappear pretty quickly as you increase your character's level. At least on the Xbox, and I believe the PS2. -David

What you are talking about is their "personalized" trick. In the Xbox version, there are something like 6 different Uber tricks for any given character, and they change depending on the type of board you are using, i. e. Alpine boards do different ubertricks for a given key combination than BX...

The keys to doing good tricks in Tricky (and the original, actually) are: 1. Holding down the jump button (the A button on Xbox, the X button on PS2, I can't speak for the GameCube, at least not yet :)) as long as you can before you hit the ramp 2. If you are intending to spin or flip or both...
