sadly it doesn't look like a scan of the OCN, its hardly an upgrade over the olive edition . In motion you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference from your chair

imprints The Counterfeit Traitor with William Holden is a disgrace. how a company can take a 1980’s era master from Paramount and slap it on a disc and call it a Blu ray is criminal . Scratches, blurry, wrong colours, consistent film damage . It’s appalling.

I spoke with the bloke in Melbourne who runs VIAVISION out of Melbourne regarding the provenance of the masters sent to them from paramount. He said paramount have not revealed any details Viz a viz 4k scans , 2 k scans , interpositives, what era they came from . Nada .
