    If it’s a recorder and it must also be a UHD player UHD recorders have more accurate tracking and less susceptibility to freezing and pixelation during playback ( a pita aspect of the UHD format )

    Doesn’t sound normal from all the user threads I’ve lurked on at the British and US FORUMS. Id be contacting either the seller or Panasonic . Maybe an easy fix with some lithium grease/ machine oil on the rails. liberty electronics in the USA sell many blu ray lasers. They also sell the oil...

    Yep works for some studios not others Eg I can play USA criterion’s and many Japanese blu rays on my Australian Panasonic 9000 Others I can’t (eg many USA fox titles) This is the hack I assume you mean ? .
