Regarding the AVM-20's lifespan, I seem to recall reading an interview where SF stated a design goal of this unit was to create a platform that could be supported for at least three years. I have no doubt they will reach this goal barring some unforeseen format change. Wayne

IMHO I see no reason to move this discussion off of this forum. Moving it to a mailing list might restrict or limit those who participate, making it exclusive. The great thing about this forum is the broad nature of the questions, comments, input, opinion etc. On a well known forum like this...
