    From what I have read. No one is quite sure how long the commitement is. It could be 6 months, 12 months, 18 months or indefinite. So who knows.

    The problem with cheap HD-DVD players sold at Walmart. Is that these buyers will be looking for Disney movies to buy for it. The same could be said if cheap Blu-Ray buyers come out and these same buyers look for Dreamworks movies.

    J6P will never fully embrace HD-Dvd without Disney. As a father of 3 kids I know Disney movies are a big part of the films they watch. That is one of the reasons I haven't gotten into either format yet. SD dvd will satisfy me until (or if) this resolves. Sadly, unless its a tv show or kids movie...
