Terrific looking! Rusty Stevens and Joe Besser in this clip. Rusty sounds just like his Larry Mondello character on Leave It To Beaver and Joe sounds much like his characters of Stinky in the Abbott & Costello Show and on The Three Stooges. Thanks for posting.
Me too. The reason I am looking forward to this is because it is more of a lesser known show that hasn't seen the light of day, I am guessing since the time it originally aired (someone correct me if I am wrong). With some other more obscure or rarely seen shows like Happy with Ronnie Burns &...
Interesting comments and all have good reasons and merit why certain titles should be released. My vote for the next is still Angel. We need more rarely seen shows that haven't been aired in many years or haven't had any type of release. While I agree Hopalong Cassidy would more than likely sell...
Ordered some great titles: A Night In Casablanca, Miss Annie Rooney, International Lady, Merrily We Live, Young and Willing, Life With Father and the 21 Beacon Street Series. Looking forward to getting Meet John Doe and The Abbott & Costello Show Season 2 (among others) soon.
I would be willing to get any of those rare Universal B titles from the late 30s and early 40s as long as the quality was decent. I hope Classic Flix keeps pursuing the possibility of acquiring some of them.
It did indeed. It is still available through several other places, however the price has gone up. It is up to I believe $39.99 on Amazon. I got mine recently at Wal Mart for $27.99. I would have preferred to get it at Classic Flix, but never got around to buying it earlier.
That would be nice if they did that, but their deal with Universal would have to be extended for probably several more years to be able to release most of those titles if they did agree to do that. Only films they think will sell well gets consideration for release, which is understandable...
It would be great if you ever did strike a deal with Universal. While Kino Lorber has done an excellent job releasing many Universal titles, there are still plenty of ones from the 1940's that Kino will probably never bother with: Andrew Sisters, Gloria Jean, Donald O'Connor, Hugh Herbert, Anne...
