The connection is about some shows missing all or parts of episodes or simply ones that have had episodes destroyed or no longer in existence.

It would be. As I understand it. a while after the show went off the air, the original colour shows were offered to someone for archiving, but the company offered the rights weren't interested, so almost all the colour ones were destroyed. Most of them only exist in the black & white kinescope...

Wow! Are you sure about this??? We have waited over 10 years from the original announcement by Sam Nelson and now it might be over 10 years before all 14 seasons are out. I can understand another 3 or 4 years maybe, but more than that. Is MPI definitely releasing all 14 or is still depending...

I always wondered why Thorny's wife Katherine (or is it spelled Catherine?) was mentioned on the show, but never appeared. Why didn't they find an actress to play her? The son Will Thornberry appeared in at least in a couple episodes, but never her.

I would agree. I think he got in over his head and it was probably just too much of a project for him to undertake. I hope those who contributed money at least received some gifts(autographed pictures, CDs, etc.).
