FWIW, I wasn't talking about films, but video content like games. I think one reason that the 120 HFR showings are selling out for what, let's face it, appears to be a pretty bad movie, is that many have grown up playing very high FPS video games and want to see a film that looks like that.
To be clear, are you saying that ALL 3D showings of Gemini Man will be at 60 FPS? Meaning that if a theater anywhere is listing it as a 3D showing, that it will be in 60 FPS and not something less?
I too did not see the Ang Lee film. But I did see all three of the Hobbit movies in HFR.
