I've been doing AV since 1978(when I was 8). Sold consumer electronics retail for 4 years(HH Gregg and Ovation) then parlayed that to 15 years wholesale. The last time The Build said "perf and woven have adv and disadv" was back when 720P was relevant. Now that 4K is on the horizon, perf is...

All self powered(power outlets ran to each spot with XLR). As far as I know...nobody has ever used Bag End in a commercial theatre(they aren't a...

Oh yeah, side note... 2 weeks after install, the bolts holding the first row of power recliners to the floor broke. During install, it was discovered that any seats within 8' of a subwoofer...electric football. Didnt help the floor was reclaimed birch(slick to begin with). Concrete with 3" of...

No offense...QSC, while really good stuff, is a fart in the wind to Bag End. Did a theatre design using an "on loan" Integra DHC 80.6 feeding 11 self-powered 18" 3-way speakers(the height were tether design...hanging from the rafters). Front main were ran large feeding an additional 18" sub on...

Apparently you aren't realizing the 5800 is a, now, 2yr old AVR and the 3000 is last years. What? No Bag End subwoofers under consideration?

I missed this post earlier. I shed a tear when my favorite record store in Louisville closed. Ear x-tacy.
