Over at Film Score Monthly, a user who has received his physical copy has regrettably confirmed that “And He Shall Smite the Wicked” is still missing its climax.
Even though it’s only an extra two days, let’s hope the delay is because Disney’s doing something to fix the blunder on “And He Shall Smite the Wicked,” even though it’s probably not that.

First, the good news; Hunchback Legacy Collection is now on streaming services. Now, the bad news, unless the streaming versions are messed up, the album is criminally missing the climactic portion of the track “And He Shall Smite the Wicked,” which was on the original soundtrack album.

Robin Hood’s Legacy Edition was released one year before its 45th Anniversary, so that’s the only Legacy besides Beauty that didn’t celebrate an anniversary.

And to add more fuel to the fire, they’re definitely not sub-licensing these particular scores as Intrada Records (who has a deal with Disney) inquired about releasing at least The Rescuers and Mulan several months ago and were told that they were holding onto them for their own “potential”...
I’m not entirely sure what’s been going on with the Legacy Collection since they came back with Robin Hood as they’ve been a bit sporadic. One possible reason there isn’t a Legacy edition for Peter Pan is elements because I recall the last CD had some tracks taken from a music-and-effects track...
I feel the same way about Sleeping Beauty’s legacy release. The original soundtrack album (which has been on ITunes for quite some time) has a lot more unique than just the tracks with Mary Costa redoing her vocals including one cue (“Fairies to the Rescue”) which is nowhere to be found on the...
