My 2 cents worth on “Brothers Grimm”

Saw it on the Cinerama screen at Bradford last Friday evening. Introduced by Dave Strohmaier and Randy Gitsch. Spectacular! :)

My 2 cents worth on “Brothers Grimm”

As others have said, ignore the moaners and nit pickers Dave. This restoration, once thought impossible, is a magnificent achievement.

Saw the restored Gypsy Dance scene on the Cinerama screen at Bradford on Sunday. Looked fabulous! The Widescreen Weekend there in 2022 will be celebrating the 70th anniversary of Cinerama and the plan is to show the restored film in all its glory. Hopefully we'll all be able to travel more...

I've seen the damaged 3 panel print a couple of times at Bradford. Really looking forward to the restoration: obviously on Blu-ray, but hopefully also on the big screen.

My 2 cents worth on “Brothers Grimm”

No word from Dave Strohmaier, (so far), so I'd take it with a pinch of salt for the time being. I doubt if a restoration could be attempted without significant input from him.

My 2 cents worth on “Brothers Grimm”

No, some of it is in great condition. Some of it needs extensive work. I've seen it a couple of times.
