I have the set and are very happy with it.

So is the only problem with the collection is there is no original mono track with Psycho? Is this really that bad, whats so wrong with the 5.1?

I know it wasnt, Im just saying this has been going on for years with all of them, they just dont get it and there isnt any of the original directors around today to blast them!

Well they never ever fixed the Overture to West Side Story all those years ago so Im not sure why anyone ever thought they would fix this. This stuff has been going on for years, its really a waste of time complaining as I dont think it ever gets to the right people :angry:

There is a BD of the film, its been out for years.

Does anyone know why my last version of Rear Window blu ray was in 1.85 ratio and the new 4K one is the correct version at 1.66?

I had exactly the same thing with The 10 Commandments special very expensive numbered box sets, one of the BD discs broke, I emailed Amazon and they wouldnt help me!

Guys can you comment on the BD versions please, are they way better than the last release on BD?

I wish we had more HD versions of classic trailers, so many of them are poor low res versions on the discs. Many discs dont even carry them anymore. I know many dont care about the trailers but I do! They are a very import part of our film history and they too should be treated with respect.

I have all four from the last BD release, I dont want the 4K versions, is this new release of all four an obvious improvement over the last four I have?
