Just put D2 Smilebox in and I may have a faulty disc. It froze after the old man comes into the room and goes to Grimm on the left of screen holding a paper. Sound also goes funny. Other parts were OK on quick check. I need to find the use of another machine before I yell out!!!!

I have not heard of any other MGM negatives etc suffering water and mold damage. Surely there had to gave been too?? I should point out that in Germany the soundtrack tapes for the 1981 Das Boot suffered water damage along the same lines and there was an elaborate story about how they went about...
