I am sorry. I didn't mean the teaser. The opening credits should show Fred picking up Pebbles, who is playing with blocks. It is a later opening used for the blu-ray.
Btw, I am now documenting errors for future reference. This has gone beyond complaining.
"Grandma Dynamite" has a quick flash of cel numbers at the bottom of the screen. Very quick.
Most of the Season 3 episodes have the wrong end credits. I am almost finished with the season and I am just now seeing correct end credits on a few.
I am also disappointed at the video quality of the...
WOW...this is a first! In "The Little Visitor," the end credits start with Barbera producing and Hanna directing...then flip in the next shot to the original credits!
WTH happened?
The first two episodes with the MEET THE FLINTSTONES theme have the wrong end credits. They credit people who didn't work on those shows. These credits were taken from another episode. And so, it begins.
Not only does "A Star is Almost Born" have the incorrect aspect ratio (that fluctuates throughout the episode), but in one scene, there is a vertical pan and the image zooms in on all four sides, rather significantly.
I feel sorry for those who worked hard on this show, only to have it damaged by someone/some who didn't do their jobs. It looks beautiful and sounds great when it is up to viewable standards. But, when you can't get through two episodes without some sort of glitch, there is a problem. They...
The problem isn't that the zooms are tiny, it's that they keep happening....and the cause is also the cause of something larger like the AR shift. Whatever the technology is "reading" is incorrectly capturing the information. Same thing with WONDER WOMAN (although those zooms are MUCH worse. The...
Can you check "The Good Scout" from Season One (Disc 2.) At the start of the opening THE FLINTSTONES title, it also does a quick zoom and the title gets smaller. Let's see it yours does that.
HUGE ERROR:
DIsc 3 "A Star is Almost Born"
The aspect ratio starts at around 1.66 and stays that way, except for the dozens of times that it shifts in and out throughout the episode.
This set needs to be recalled now!
It is unsettling to know that someone sitting at a console has the ability to protect or harm a piece of our shared cultural heritage. And if it is harmed, the studio doesn't come to its defense by repairing the damage done.
I really want to start a campaign called "First, Do No Harm." I want to...
I have no idea what is causing it, but it can't be source issues, since the first season credits were recreated and the same source used for every episodes. The fact that two of these examples came from these credits tells me that something has gone wrong. And the same thing happened with Wonder...
Found 2 more zooms. They are both in the opening credits of "The Good Scout." The first is a zoom out (shrinking the image) on the title card. The 2nd is a zoom in when Fred kisses Wilma. I'm afraid this is going to keep happening throughout the set. Similar to the Wonder Woman issues. WB needs...
