I've been picking up more titles for my collection: THE STORY OF THE FIRST CHRISTMAS with Tennessee Ernie Ford, FREDDIE THE FREELOADER'S CHRISTMAS DINNER, THE MAN IN THE SANTA CLAUS SUIT, DEAN MARTIN'S 1968 SPECIAL, THE OSMONDS 1978 SPECIAL, THE STINGIEST MAN IN TOWN 1956, etc.

I will finish my holiday viewings with "The Wind in the Willows" (1987 Rankin/Bass version) and "Happy New Year, Charlie Brown!" "The Wind in the Willows" is great for the New Year because it is all about redemption and living a brand new you. I have enjoyed each and every post this season! Look...

Today: "The Night They Saved Christmas," "A Smoky Mountain Christmas," "Yogi's First Christmas," "Amahl and the Night Visitors (1955)" and then movies: "Love Actually," "A Christmas Carol (1951)," and the truly awful "Santa Claus (1959)."

Peanuts Specials Tonight Tomorrow Night: Theme: "Old-Fashioned Christmas" with "The House Without a Christmas Tree," "The Homecoming," "A Smoky Mountain Christmas," "Yes, Virigina There is a Santa Claus" (1991 live-action version), and "An American Christmas Carol."

I'm watching my sitcom episodes tomorrow: The Honeymooners, The Twilight Zone, The Brady Bunch, Father Knows Best, The Donna Reed Show, McHale's Navy, Bewitched, That Girl, The Flying Nun, The Beverly Hillbillies, Window on Main Street, The Andy Griffith Show, and I Love Lucy.

I added the rare SILENT NIGHT, HOLY NIGHT from Hanna-Barbera to my collection this year, as well as A SNOW WHITE CHRISTMAS, A CHRISTMAS WITHOUT SNOW, CHRISTMAS SNOW, THE NUTCRACKER (1993), MR. KRUEGER'S CHRISTMAS, A CHRISTMAS CAROL (1954), Perry Como (1974), and Carol Burnett Christmas dvd.

I have 110 Christmas specials (not counting special episodes of tv series) and 40 Christmas movies. I've watched all but 10 of the specials and 2 of the movies this year! Whew!

Same here. I was actually online during some of them too, and only glanced at the screen. But I watched them because I "had" to or it wouldn't have been Christmas...Silly, I know!

I close my Christmas viewing season tonight as I always do, with the Rankin/Bass adaptation of L. Frank Baum's "The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus." I managed to watch about 30 movies and 100 plus specials this year. Whew!

"It's A Wonderful Life" and "Miracle on 34th Street" (original) are my favorite Christmas films, by far. Favorite Christmas specials are: "Rudolph," "Charlie Brown," "Frosty," and "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town." Favorite Christmas episode: The Brady Bunch Season One "Voice of Christmas."
