I thought that I had already mentioned the Spanish DVD earlier in this thread. I purchased it and eventually sold it used. It looked official to me. The transfer is non-anamorphic but widescreen letterbox. This means the picture is very small on a HDTV. The quality of the picture was OK, but not...
I had the Spanish official dvd and it was not great. Non-anamorphic and probably a low bit rate. On a 'regular' old SDTV it would probably look pretty good.
Actually, there is an official release in Spain. Non-anamorphic and maybe even a single layered DVD. It beats the bootlegs, but that's about it.
