TimeLife announces "The Lost Episodes" of The Carol Burnett Show

I also visited my Costco in Raleigh, NC, yesterday, and the only thing new they had was the new Bond film, Spectre, priced at $3 more than Best Buy or Target. I tracked down a store employee and he paged the front office. If the lady who was looking it up was correct, it was not on their...

TimeLife announces "The Lost Episodes" of The Carol Burnett Show

OK. I had to run by Walmart to pick up a few things this evening. Here is their single-disc "Walmart Exclusive," version of the "Lost Episodes." It is selling for $9.95. Based on the guests listed on the back, this is Disc 1 of the Large Lost Episodes set. While I am not sure what is exclusive...

TimeLife announces "The Lost Episodes" of The Carol Burnett Show

Just got back from Costco. Picked up my "Lost Episodes" set for $28.99--quite the bargain compared to Amazon.com's 6-disc set for $39.99. The 7th bonus disc includes episodes #518 and #310. Based on the original press release for the large Lost Episodes Collection, this would be Disc 13 of...

TimeLife announces "The Lost Episodes" of The Carol Burnett Show

Saw this online the other night and tried, to no avail, to find a description. Has anyone heard what is "Exclusive" about Walmart's single disc release? Perhaps just a bonus episode from another disc from the large set? Or could it be another "new" episode? http://www.walmart.com/ip/45451648

And if Costco has the set, ideally with a 7th disc, the price tag will probably be around $40 instead of $60--if they follow the pattern of the last Carol Burnett sets.

TimeLife announces "The Lost Episodes" of The Carol Burnett Show

If it were me, I would probably buy the "Ultimate set" first, while it is still cheap and readily available on Amazon and through places like Best Buy--for about $150. Once it becomes harder for retailers to find, the price will likely go up on this set. You might even call TimeLife/StarVista...

TimeLife announces "The Lost Episodes" of The Carol Burnett Show

Brian, Just got home and checked my collection. The Cracker Barrel exclusive disc I referenced earlier contains episodes 909, 911 and 923 plus bonus features. In other words, it is Disc 9 from the massive set. The "exclusive" part was the fact that this single-disc was available ONLY at Cracker...

TimeLife announces "The Lost Episodes" of The Carol Burnett Show

Yeh, I'm still not so sure I have ALL of what was released from the first set, with Exclusive releases at Walmart, Costco, Cracker Barrel and who knows what other stores I may not have in my area. LOL.
