Greinke adds more scoreless innings, holding Boston at bay... In the last 3 starts, he's .26 ERA.. and drops his season ERA to 2.08. 15W, with six ND in which he allowed 1 or No runs. (wow)

Grienke's season can be summed up last night. 7 IP, 1ER, drops his ERA to 2.12, now almost 1 1/2 runs better then anyone else in the AL... and still can't get a win *argh*

I just don't get the buzz over CC. He may win the Cy Young, but it'd be pretty hollow. He's 7th in the league in ERA. He's not in the top five outside of Wins and Innings Pitched (second in WHIP, my bad) Strikeouts, ERA, everything else he trails outside of the top five. But he's in NY, and...

I completely disagree. While Lincecum has been great, as have Carpenter, the NL right now is just.. the hitting simply isn't there. If you look at the interleague play records it's embarrassing for the NL. And when was the last time they won an All Star Game.. (?) Face inferior product...

It's hard sometimes for people to really grasp how incredible Greinke has been this season. He plays on one of the worst teams in the league.. he has a defense behind him that on a good day could be called porous. They have the second most errors of any team (96) and one of the lowest fielding...

Grienke pitches a team best, 15 strike out game, dropping his ERA to 2.43, now a full run better then anyone else in the AL.. but only 12 wins to show for it (boggle) But at least the Royals aren't the only emberrassing thing in the league lately.. this out of a recent Dodgers game makes it...

Please, Zack, as a Royals fan.. please, get to a club that can use you. Anywhere else, you'd win the Cy Young and you'd have 4 more wins.. another 7 innings, no ER. And another loss, thanks to a 9th inning HR from the bullpen. The Royals get blanked by a 6.8ERA pitcher. What does it say...

With the level of run support he's getting, I'm surprised Zack Greinke hasn't gone on a blow up spree of beating up his teammates. And at this point, I'm not sure that isn't a bad policy to adopt.

Over the next two days, I expect to see Rick Monday's saving the flag clip to get tons of play; they aired it again in the game I watched tonight. First, it was a great moment, it's a great clip. The reason why anyone raised the comparison is because of his streak. Only he, Randy Johnson & Walter Johnson have produced similar streak #s for the start of a season. I wouldn't put him in that category. As to 2005.. he lost a lot of games like 2-1, or where our defense was downright...
