Loved Raylan looking down at Daryl as he was dying. He looked pretty fucking scary.
Boyd's behind-the-back shot was pretty damn nifty too, if he does say so himself.
Great that Tim and Rachel got to have the big shootout, and I was smitten enough with Wendy all year that I liked seeing her drop the curtain on Daryl. And the setup for next year looks interesting enough that it's almost certain that this season will end up being squarely the weakest of all of...
Now that was a goddamn fantastic episode of Justified. Looks like they're going to "save" the season (still better than 97.5% of everything else on TV) in these last two episodes. Love when Raylan uses the law to get the bad guys. A gun is nice, but he mowed through them this episode.
Pretty...
Art getting shot, Boyd back to his old explosive tricks, Kendall's (presumably false) confession, and only two new comments? Blerg.
It's a shame they've lost the tether of Wendy's characterization in the last two episodes, because Witt's so appealing in the role that I'd like to see her somehow...
I kind of hate Rapaport's character, but it does have the advantage of making me really excited to see him die. That will be sweet, just like it was sweet when his dickhead brother went out this week.
It's weird, because while I certainly wasn't rooting for Quarles, I really liked the character...
Never has a piece-moving episode been so magnificently entertaining.Wynn's weapon of choice? Why, a pump-action BB gun, of course. I would LOVE for this to be a reoccurring gag henceforth.
Boyd's speech to Dewey almost felt genuine, until you find out later Boyd was the one fucking him over...
I'm torn on the "six seasons"-news. I love the show, and I think what makes it special is fairly sustainable (far moreso than previous FX dramas). But it continues to fire on all cylinders, and it'd be nice to see this show ride off into the sunset with all of the goodwill in the world. I'd miss...
"Now, I'll kill four of you before you even clear your chambers, and you see this star? That's gonna make it legal. Now, do we have an understanding, here?"
This episode fucking flew. We got Avon with the comedy. We got Loretta back being all femme fatalette. We got Amy Smart sassing Raylan...
Just realized something:
I know that I'm sometimes slow with more subtle stuff on shows, but I was in the shower tonight (that's my thinking-time) and realized that Boyd offered the funeral-home guy $300,000 that he didn't have right now, but could have "within the week." The exact amount that...
I was also ecstatic to see Koechner, Foley, and Sasso in meaty roles that will hopefully showcase their talents.
Originally, I was distracted during the opening by the seemingly-endless list of guest stars. All these names kept popping up, and I just got more and more excited. We live in a...
I am rewatching Season 4 in anticipation of Season 5.
First episode, and less than 5 minutes in:
We get a great, angry muttering loud enough for the wife to hear.
We get a dead body falling from the sky.
We get a, "He sure as hell ain't Santa Claus."
We get a, "It's from The Big Lebowski...
