There's no need to be dismissive. He hasn't said either that we shouldn't be happy with new HD Blu-rays, or that he's against the Blu-rays existing. Only that he, personally, is satisfied with his current set-up and choice about how to watch this and other shows. Play nice.

They wouldn't. Initial contracts for music use for TV shows give them the rights to use the music for any broadcast. Because back in the day, TV shows were solely a broadcast product. Same with movies...TV broadcast rights were included in any music-use contracts, because that was a normal and...

I think Tim is just thinking that other things have been released despite music clearance issues, even if some substitutions had to be made. Like China Beach, in terms of Warner.

The detective shows are likely more problematic than the westerns because of music clearance issues.
