Actually, HBO has already started to discount the Sopranos I think, I see the first season, two, or three at Best Buy for a price tag more like 50 bucks these days. (The existing ones I mean, not repackaging them) As for the X=Files extras, I really don't care at all. :P But they sure better...

I think the slim cases are to rope in any fans who were unable to afford buying them before, or who decided the price was not worth it. Now that they've gotten all the money from the hardcore people, they repackage, sell the cheapies and cash in again! I know I am eagerly awaiting X-Files...
